Emma holds a post-graduate certificate from Humber College in Public Relations/ Image Management and a Bachelors Degree from the University of Victoria in English and Creative Writing. While at UVic, Emma acted as a fiction editor at This Side of West for their 2019/2020 issue.

Her work has been published in Riddle Fence Magazine.
